Below is a video collage of speeches by UKIP Leader Nigel Farage MEP in the European Parliament in Strasbourg and Brussels as Co-President of the Europe of Freedom and Democracy Group (EFD). Excerpts relate to the euro currency crisis leading up to the bailouts of Greece (May 2010), Ireland (November 2010) and Portugal (April 2011).
One wonders if a politician in the United States were to stand up and speak in this way how long it would be before the MSM would attempt to destroy him. I submit to you that this video should be used as a training video for future candidates for office because in today’s political environment the candidate speaking on the campaign trail would be terribly difficult to beat at the ballot box. Replace just a few of the words he uses with words like Obama, Democrats, Liberals, Federal Reserve, or ObamaCare and his comments hit a lot closer to home.
Nigel Paul Farage is a British politician and is the leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP),[3] a position he previously held from September 2006 to November 2009. He is a current Member of the European Parliament for South East England and co-chairs the Eurosceptic Europe of Freedom and Democracy group.
Farage was a founding member of the UKIP, having left the Conservative Party in 1992 after they signed the Maastricht Treaty. Having unsuccessfully campaigned in European and Westminster parliamentary elections for UKIP since 1994, he gained a seat as an MEP for South East England in the 1999 European Parliament Election — the first year the regional list system was used — and was re-elected in 2004 and 2009. Farage describes himself as a libertarian and rejects the notion that he is a conservative.
