I don’t know why this surprises me.
I guess I expect the President of The United States to understand the importance of each and every word of The Declaration of Independence AND The Constitution. Apparently, neither one is on his reading list.
Just a suggestion, maybe if he skipped a round of golf every now and then, he’d have enough time to brush up on the documents that founded our Country. It may not improve his golf game, but it might improve his leadership.

Interesting to also note, to the whoops of the pro-Mexico folk in attendance that Obomba says Mexicans were native to the Americas prior to settlement by the White Europeans. That part was surprising. That he omitted the FACT that our founders gave God full credit for the establishment of the United States of America was not surprising…it’s part of his re-shaping and fundamentally changing our nation in his (Obomba’s) design.
What is the big deal? The president was not reciting the Declaration of Independence. Someone show me where the Creator has specifically endowed men with these rights. What is important is that the rights are endowed to the citizens and legal immigrants to this country. Pick your battles, folks. Do you want this to be the big deal, or something that can actually be changed?
