Preamble To The U.S. Constitution

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Thomas Jefferson, March 4, 1801

[A] wise and frugal government... shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.

This morning I did more than say something, I did something today (5-14-10)… I wrote a letter to Senator Terry Burton ( tburton@senate.ms.gov ) requesting that he consider introducing a similar bill in the Mississippi legislature that mirrored the Arizona law (http://www.azleg.gov/legtext/49leg/2r/bills/sb1070s.pdf), which mirrors the federal law, and would like to suggest that everyone that reads and agrees with this do the same.

The illegal alien problem affects us all in one way or the other. These illegal aliens are sending a lot of otherwise taxable dollars south of the border (and if it’s not here, it can’t be taxed), not to mention the jobs they’re costing us during this time of increased unemployment.

With the oil spill ruining the Gulf Coast this summer, why not plan a vacation at the Grand Canyon in Arizona instead?

YES, ALL THE STATES NEED TO FOLLOW ARIZONA TO PROTECT OUR STATES RIGHTS FROM THE GOVERNMENT. THAT WOULD BE A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION TO TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY,ONE STATE AT A TIME.

John Adams, 1765

Liberty must at all hazards be supported. We have a right to it, derived from our Maker. But if we had not, our fathers have earned and bought it for us, at the expense of their ease, their estates, their pleasure, and their blood.
