In order to Win In November, Tea Party Groups and 9-12 Organizations all over the country will be working to educate voters and get the vote out on election day. MeridianTeaParty.com has decided start a billboard advertising campaign which will accomplish several goals at once:
- Raise Awareness About MeridianTeaParty.com
- Promote Conservative Values
- Increase The Public Visibility Of MeridianTeaParty.com
- Spread Our Message Outside the Borders Of Our County and State
- Remind Voters To Vote In November
- Generate Media Attention
To that end, we have several ideas for billboards and picture of each are shown below. Please review each billboard carefully and note the name of each.
Now that you’ve reviewed the choices, select the ones you liked best in our online poll displayed to your left. The votes will be tallied and the billboards receiving the most votes will be selected in order to become actual billboards around Meridian. You may vote for as many billboards as you would like at one time but you can only vote once per day.

I think the electronic billboards are more effective than the static boards. I very rarely look at static billboards, but I always look to see what’s on new the electonic ones.

Whatever happens DO NOT use the one with the pic of Obama. To many stupid people will think the poster supports Obama (dummies can’t read).
The best advice that can EVER be given on a billboard is ‘LESS IS MORE’! The simpler the billboard is, with the fewest words, is the one that will be ABLE TO BE READ by cars easily while they are in view of it. No matter how grandiose or wise the message, it is lost if the driver can’t read it. Although I am not a member of your group, I would have to suggest the NOVEMBER IS COMING billboard as it gives an exceptionally clear message that will be a start reminder to voters and politicians alike and will present a show of strength behind the Meridian Tea Party. Great idea! We may have to get a campaign like this going down in Hattiesburg!

Pam and Mary Ellen have a good idea. We need to enlist support, rather than give the idea that we as TEA party members are going to take the country back.
I understand the billboards are a priority, but what about the idea of bumper sticker magnets? They’re relatively cheap and I think it would be a great way to raise money and spread the knowledge.
