Preamble To The U.S. Constitution

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Thomas Jefferson, March 4, 1801

[A] wise and frugal government... shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.

If you are not careful, all the politics and craziness coming out of Washington, D.C. are enough to get you down. Sometimes, it is good to stand back and get some perspective; otherwise, it will make you want to just give up and give in. When that happens to me, I find it helps to remind myself of why I’m fighting to keep my Freedom. It’s really very simple. I love my Country and I love the State of Mississippi and I love the life both have enabled me with God’s help to build for myself and my family. In the end, I just want to deserve the many blessings I’ve given.

So, take a few minutes and enjoy one of Mississippi’s Favorite Sons as he sings about just some of the things we all love about our home.
