On the Gathering Of Eagles: NY blog, there is another story of Tea Party Members standing tall on June 25th in the face of the leftist abuse by ACORN and their new front group Act Now. The amazing thing to me is that this took place on Long Island in the heart of the Liberal Northeast. Somehow the Tea Party folks along with some 9-12'ers and ResistNet folks got word that ACORN members were getting folks to sign petitions and they mobilized. Upon arriving at the shopping center with about 40 Tea Party and various other conservatives, they found 4 ACORN/Act Now members.

When they couldn’t win their arguments with facts, the ACORN employees tried to intimidate the Tea Party folks. No way that could work with dedicated Patriots! So ACORN cut and run when the going got tough, and repeated that sorry performance twice in one day.
