The Mississippi Tea Party is asking for assistance to organize rallies at all of the District Offices of the U.S. Legislators for Mississippi to show our opposition to the Health Care Reform Bill. Here’s the request:
Mark S. Mayfield has sent you a message on Mississippi Tea Party
Friends and fellow Patriots,
With your help, August 22 will be a day our elected officials will not soon forget.
We are asking for your help organizing rallies at the local district offices of Bennie Thompson, Travis Childers, Roger Wicker, Thad Cochran, Greg Harper and Gene Taylor. With the Health Care vote looming in September, we have to let Mississippi and the nation hear our voice, that we say NO! To Socialized health Care.
Please let Cindy or Julia know as soon as possible if you can help organize this event.

My husband and I attended the Meridian Tea Party workshop last evening and I was very surprised at the number of people who came out to attend. I was also very impressed with the sincerity of the people involved with the organization. I attended the first rally (April 15 Tax Day tea party) and can only say, “We have come a long way baby!”
Mr Chip Reynolds stood in for Mr. Greg Harper and answered questions concerning Health Care Reform and where Mr. Harper stands on this issue.
If you are interested in where this country is being taken, I suggest you get involved with this organization. There were people in attendance from Meridian, and surrounding counties: Lauderdale, Kemper, Neshoba, Clark and Newton. We can stop this train wreak, we just need your help!

Hello,
I pastor a small church in Meridian and we are very much in support of the efforts you have taken. I am also invovled in other similar efforts in other parts of the state. I would like to become more involved in the Meridian area. Can someone contact me inform me of what we can do? Next meeting?
